About the Role :
We are seeking a skilled and innovative UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) Design Engineer proficient in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to join our dynamic team. As a UAV Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, modeling, and developing cutting-edge UAV systems using CAD software. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including aerodynamics, electronics, software, and manufacturing to ensure the successful design and development of UAV platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in aerospace engineering, CAD proficiency, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of UAV technology.
Responsibility :
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings of UAV components and systems.
• Conduct structural analysis and simulations to ensure the structural integrity and reliability of UAV designs.
• Iterate and refine UAV designs based on feedback from simulations, testing, and performance evaluations.
• Work closely with electronics engineers to integrate avionics systems and payloads into UAV structures.
• Coordinate with manufacturing engineers to develop production-ready UAV designs and ensure manufacturability.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in UAV technology, CAD software, and manufacturing processes.
• Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and brainstorming sessions to drive innovation and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot design issues and implement solutions.
• Adhere to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure timely delivery of UAV designs.
Required Skills :
• Proven experience working as a UAV Design Engineer or in a similar Design Engineer role.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of aerospace principles, aerodynamics, and structural mechanics.
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
